*Benches 9-15 will remain available for non-competing, range ticket holders but the firing line will be under the control of the events chief range officer.

This will be a centrefire benchrest competition for Group.  Five targets BR100 targets at 100m and five BR200 targets at 200m.

 

Aggregate group size will win the day (100m agg, 200m agg and the grand agg).  You will need a minimum of 5 rounds per target, 8 recommended.

 

Rifle Classes:  NZDA varmint for Group (LV/HV combined), NZDA factory class, NZDA-BOP club class

Mandatory Equipment:

  • Front sand bag or a front mechanical rest with sandbag fitted.
  • Rear sandbag rest.
  • Scoped rifle.

Entry & Match Fees

  • Gates open at 8:00am for MTB and wind flag setup.
  • Registration 8:00am – 8:45am.
  • Safety & match briefing starts at 8:45am.
  • Shooting commences at 9:00am.
  • Target fee is $10 minimum (5 targets).
  • For NZDA-BOP members with no range ticket or other branch NZDA members, a $25 day fee will also apply.
  • For non NZDA members the day fee is $50.
We will be operating the range under a Restricted Operating Procedure as competition shooting will be over wind flags. All shooters will need to prove their Cone of Fire by first firing several shots at a test target. These shots must be inside a 100mm diameter circle at 100m.
