Open to all NZDA BOP Branch members (no range ticket required). Target fee $10 Adult/Junior Team and $10 per adult 4P shooter.

Classes
Adult/Junior Teams, 50m .22LR Rimfire
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Adult 100m, Centrefire, 4 Position
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
There will be other random draw prizes.
Each Adult/Junior team will consist of 1 adult and 1 junior (under 16 years). The adult must have a firearms license and supervise the junior while shooting. A non-licensed adult can shoot but must arrange for another licensed shooter to be available to provide immediate supervision (i.e. a non-licensed wife and child team with the licensed husband providing supervision to both).
You will share one target with two separate bulls eyes. The NZDA Official 50m Rimfire target. The adult shoots 10 shots at the left bullseye from the sitting or kneeling position. The junior shoots 10 shots from the prone position with the rifle on a bipod or front rest. The score from both bullseyes is combined.
The adult 100m, centrefire shoot will use the NZDA Official 100m Centrefire (Type 3) target. The 4 shooting positions are as follows:
- Prone (lying down), 5 shots/1 target
- Sitting, 5 shots/1 target
- Kneeling, 5 shots/1 target
- Standing, 5 shots/1 target
- 20 rounds in total/4 targets total
2 Point sling allowed.
No target shooting clothing or aids allowed.
Scope power limited to 8x. Vari-power scopes will be set to 8x and the power ring taped.
We will have a sight-in and practice session before hand. Bring some extra rounds.
