Each year, the Sika Foundation initiates management hunts to manage the Sika deer population. With these hunts, they hunt deer and gather valuable information.

Our intention is to lock in a hunt as soon as we get visibility on the next available management hunts. There are likely to be new blocks being released in the coming weeks however, we would like to start taking names from those interested and line up 4 hunters so we can jump in and reserve seats as soon as these are announced.

The cost of the hunt per person will be approximately $400 to $650 per person – location dependent. This is for the Heli flight only. Sika Foundation members may get a slight discount. All other transport and hunting costs are excluded.

The dates are unknown, however based on history, it would likely be over a weekend between 27 October and 17th November. We are picking 7th to 9th November.

Some important things to note:

· Maximum weight per person + pack would likely be around 135kg.

· There are no huts, so be ready to camp out – temperatures are better this time of the year.

· You should be a fully independent hunter with the required emergency gear.

· Be willing to gather some data for the Sika foundation if asked.
