Membership
All members of the Association are affiliated through a Branch with one of the following membership classes:

Family members are the partner, child or grandchild, child or grandchild of the partner, or sibling, of another class of member (the full member). Children, siblings and grandchildren must be younger than 18 at the commencement of the financial year on the 1st of March. |

The Joining Fee only applies to new members and members who are not financial for more than 90 days (i.e. existing membership must be renewed before the 31st of May.
Membership benefits:
- NZDA $10 million Liability Insurance Cover, including $1 million rural fires extension (excludes Associate membership class).
- NZDA working to protect your hunting interests.
- NZ Hunting & Wildlife magazine (except for affiliates or associates; 1 copy per family).
- Club newsletter.
- Club nights with guest speakers, organised branch hunting trips.
- Eligible to enroll in a HUNTS course.
Members of the Association enjoy various benefits based on the class of membership they hold:
- Senior and Junior members receive a copy of the Association’s quarterly magazine, “New Zealand Hunting & Wildlife”.
- Senior/Family and Junior members are entitled to enter National Competitions.
- Family/Junior and Associate members are not eligible for voting.
- Applications for Family membership must be submitted by the relevant full member.
- Members are covered by the Association’s Public Liability Insurance Policy (excluding Associates).
- All members are entitled to discounts that may be negotiated from time to time.

Current members, please note that we have changed to “centralised billing”. You will receive an invoice from the national office for your annual fees. Please pay this direct to the National Office per their payment instructions.
