A monthly club shoot is held on the third Saturday of each month commencing at 9.00am.   Check the Club Calendar for the dates.

Our Branch has a number of trophies and a wide range of shoots on offer for members ranging from .22s at 25m to centrefire at 300m. Targets and patches are provided.
Each month has a different course of fire to cater for a range of interests. You are welcome to bring along any rifle you like to shoot with. It’s all about getting out there and having some fun with others.

These shoots are limited to 26 shooters. If you wish to attend, can you please email royced@xtra.co.nz. Please RSVP so that you don’t miss out. All members that register will be sent the Course of Fire/event program in advance so that you know what to expect and can plan what to bring along, i.e. amount of ammunition/Rimfire/centrefire etc.

Cost to attend is $10 per shooter to cover targets, patches etc and a simple BBQ lunch (at the conclusion of the shoot) – please bring cash on the day.

You need to be there by 9.00am to assist with set-up. Shooting commences with a safety briefing and an explanation of how the shoot will be run (this attendance is compulsory for all shooters). Any new members requiring a range induction for their access tag must be there by 9.00am. Anyone requiring an induction that arrives after the induction has taken place will not be able to shoot.

Please feel free to stay for only as long as you like, we are happy to accommodate your shooting requirements and young shooters and woman shooters are also encouraged and catered for.
